The UNDP has published a job vacancy announcement on 02nd June 2022 for qualified South Sudanese to fill in the vacant post of Driver to be based in Bentiu, South Sudan.

UNDP Job Vacancy 2022

Institutional Arrangement: The Driver will be under the guidance of the Program Advisor & Manager/PaCC and Peace and Community Cohesion Officer in Bentiu as direct supervisor. The Driver provides driving services to the operations and Programme staff in the field and country office, Consultants and Experts and UN staff on mission.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Secondary Education supplemented with a certificate from a Technical/Vocational School;

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ work experiences as Driver in a recognized institution with safe driving records;
• Work experience in the United Nations, international NGOs or diplomatic missions is preferred;
• Valid Driving License;
• Adapt in national driving rules and regulations;
• Skills in minor vehicle repair and mechanics;
• Basic computer literacy is added advantage.

Language:

• Fluency in English and basic Arabic is mandatory;
• Knowledge of local languages is desirable.
