Overall Purpose Of The Role: The Protection Information Management (PIM) Officer will be supporting the overall quality of protection-related data management across DRC Ethiopia’s projects. To this end, she or he will play a critical role in supporting the execution of day-to-day activities related to information management through the collection, analysis and sharing of information in a sensitive and appropriate way in accordance with professional standards for protection work. She or he will be responsible for contributing to the overall maintenance of various PIM related tools and providing support to the PIM Specialist. The PIM Officer will also support the Protection Manager in identifying key protection trends and in the analysis of quantitative data in order to support the development of evidence-based decision-making and strategies.
