Overall Purpose of the Role: Under the management of the 4Mi Project Manager, the 4Mi Specialist for Ethiopia is in charge of the implementation of 4Mi data collection project in country. This includes liaising with the data collection partner to implement the standard 4Mi survey with people on the move in Ethiopia, as well as the Returnee survey. He/she provides translation of tools and trainings on tools & methodology, supervises data collection with the support of a regional Information Management Officer, ensures the respect of the methodology and ToRs from the data collection partner, coordinates with MMC in East & Southern Africa on strategic development of activities in Ethiopia, and supports MMC operations in Ethiopia. Occasionally, he/she contributes to qualitative data collection, the analysis of data and writing of the research outputs.
