Job Responsibilities: The Capacity Strengthening Director will be responsible for the design, management, implementation, and monitoring of organizational and technical capacity strengthening initiatives for civil society organizations (CSOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other community partners in the project target areas, including developing curricula, organizing and coordinating training activities, designing mentorship schemes, creating job aids, leading workshops, and designing technical assistance delivery schemes. The Capacity Strengthening Director will develop an overall capacity-strengthening strategy for the project. The Capacity Strengthening Advisor will support capacity-development interventions including through the use of capacity building assessment tools.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, organizational development, business administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the design and management of complex, large capacity and institution strengthening activities in Ethiopia or other similar environments involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding and previous experience working with, advising, and providing capacity strengthening to Ethiopian CSOs/NGOs and other local non-state organizations
- Experience in assessing the technical and organizational capacity of organizations, developing customized capacity strengthening plans, conducting organizational evaluations that cultivate ownership of results and providing individualized training, coaching, and on-site support in various technical areas.
