Job Opportunity: The Project Manager,-ARISE is in charge of the development, coordination and management of The Fred Hollows Foundation ARISE project in Oromia, Ethiopia. Responsible for overall leadership, management and technical direction and oversight for the ARISE project. Specifically, responsible for effective planning, implementation ,training and implementation, coordination and day-to-day management of the project activities. Provide guidance and leadership on strategies, training and implementation of the project with focus on Trichiasis Management, Mass Drug Administration (MDA) or antibiotics, surveillance and impact surveys, and the health system strengthen aspects of the project to eliminate blinding trachoma. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that all systems and resources (human materials and financial), policies and procedures are in place and followed. Engage in high-level strategic, planning and networking activities with the End Fund, MOH, International Trachoma Initiative(ITI), Ethiopian Pharmaceuticals Supply Agency(EPSA), Oromia Regional Health Bureau (ORHB) and other relevant stakeholders including the private sector.
