GAIN Job Vacancy 2022
Job Role: The Better Dairy for All project is designed to develop solutions that increase access (including through supports on innovative dairy processing) and demand to affordable dairy products for children <7years, pregnant and lactating women, school children, and low wage industrial or large-scale farm workers. This is achieved through the improvement of access to affordable and safe dairy products by building on existing dairy value chain in Amhara and other regions of Ethiopia. The Project Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of the project and will lead the project team in generating demand for dairy products to be consumed by the target groups, developing affordable, safe, and nutritious prototypes of dairy or dairy-based products, developing a viable business model as well as a marketing and demand creation strategy. The Project Manager will also lead efforts to strengthen the enabling environment for value addition towards dairy accessing and consumption in Ethiopia.
Position in Organization:
- Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Salary: The starting sFrom ETB 631,380 – ETB 722,080 per annum, depending on experience.
- Contract Type: Fixed Term
- Duration: 36 Months
