GGGI Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose:
- Develop resource mobilization with a particular focus on climate finance;
- Lead, coordinate and provide technical support in the design of bankable investment proposal and concept notes for resource mobilization;
- Mobilizes grant and non-grant climate finance including concessional loan and technical assistance from bilateral and multilateral development partners, philanthropies’ as well as from private and public sources for climate change mitigation and adaptation actions;
- Negotiation, drafting and revision of agreements with development partners and monitoring of overall implementation of agreements.

Qualification:
- A Master’s Degree in Economics, International Relations, Development Studies, Environment and natural resource management or other related filed . A Bachelor’s Degree in these relevant fields with additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a Master’s Degree.
Experience
- Preferable 5- 7 years of experience in the field of resource mobilization, partnership management, Development effectiveness, public finance in climate change context;
- Demonstrable knowledge of international development financing and the global funding architecture, particularly as related to the climate finance including the Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund ;
- Knowledge of the operations of Ministry of Finance including channels of financial flow, the national development policies and strategies is an added advantage;
- Good knowledge of the government operations at the national, regional and woreda level;
- Having private sector experience will be an added advantage;
- Ability to integrate gender equality and social inclusion in resource mobilization efforts and partnership building;
