Interpol Job Vacancy 2023
Job Duties:
- Routine cooperation and collaboration with the African Union (AU) unit covering OCSEA, Supporting activities of the AU in relation to development of members states’ capacity on OCSEA, policy, legislation and regional and global cooperation
- Supporting CAC advocacy for the creation of specialized online child sexual exploitation units in member countries in Africa
- Initiation and coordination of capacity building trainings and workshops for specialized units in member countries, on topics such as Victim Identification, Covert Internet Investigations, Open Source Intelligence, Online Child Sexual Exploitation investigation, forensic interviewing, evidence searching and triage.
- Initiation and Coordination of international, multi-party, round tables to promote OCSEA activities by AU countries
- Build relationships with law enforcement agencies, relevant organizations and other stakeholders in AU member states, in relation to OCSEA and related services including victim and child services
- Liaison with AFRIPOL and African regional police chiefs’ organizations around OCSEA
- Draft documentation, referrals, standards of operation, curriculums, linked to the above activities.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:
- University or other specialized higher education establishment.
- Three years of experience in crimes against children in a law enforcement agency or organization. Ten years of experience is required if the post holder does not have the required level of education.
