IRC Job Vacancy 2021
Job purpose: The Senior CWI Officer is reporting to the CWI Manger and Addis CWI team. She/He will provide technical support in the development and implementation of response and prevention-related programming in Shire IDP sites. This position provides mentorship and on ground capacity building to GBV Response and Prevention Officers, supports the CWI reporting and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, enhances GBV collaboration and relationships among partners, and leads in key CWI activity to ensure the goals and objectives of the program are met and to strengthen their on sites implementation, project management and GBV technical skills.

Qualification:

- Related work and field experiences in counseling or social service provision with women and adolescent girls.
- Demonstrated confidence in discussing intimate gender and sexuality issues.
- Able to maintain GBV and protection principles at all times – including knowledge and practical application of the GBV Guiding Principles and PSEA.
- Familiarity working in the region is an advantage.
