Job Role: Oxfam International’s Africa Platform is looking for a Gender Justice Advocacy and Campaigns Advisor who will be supporting the countries within the continent on the design, development and implementation of the Advocacy and Campaigns work on this pilar. The post holder will provide leadership and policy advice that supports building networks and alliances nationally, regionally and globally, including public campaigning and private lobby efforts. The role will provide strategic policy steer and thought leadership in helping to shape and share the OiA narrative around gender justice, gender in emergencies and women’s rights, and to help link Oxfam’s country-level advocacy work with our global campaigns and networks. The post holder will be responsible for leading the campaigns and advocacy in OiA in this pillar.
