Save The Children Job Vacancy 2022
Role Purpose: As head of the project office, He/she also represents Save the Children in the region, ensure internalization and adherence to Save the Children’s Vision, Mission, Core Values and Principles, provide the overall supervision and lead all personnel working in the project office and promote the matrix management, provide overall supervision and management of resources utilization, provide regular communication and coordination with the Area Office leadership and various support functions and Ensure Staff Safety and Security through context analysis and follow up on the MSOP’s as well as Child Safe Guarding. Provide overall leadership and Management oversight to all SCI projects being implemented under the project office according to organizational policies, donor regulations, stakeholder and community expectations. As Program Manager is responsible for overall management of projects at the project office. He/she is responsible to ensure the efficient and timely planning, monitoring, implantation and reporting of project activities. He/she manages the project office and projects budget; ensure effective utilization of staff, vehicles, and other resources. At regional and project levels he/she is responsible to ensure that project implementation, financial resource utilization and other project resources complies with donor rules and regulations as well as Save the Children operational standards. He/she manages the project office project managers, Coordinators, support function leads, partner staff members and works closely with regional and local stakeholders to implement project activities.

Qualification:
- BSC degree in development studies, or social science (management/leadership); Master’s degree more advantageous.
Experience:
- 4-5 years’ experience working with international and national NGOs as well as the various government offices and the community. Including a corporate or an NGO environment, in a range of cultures including significant field operations experience, running both emergency and development programs.
- Robust experience of NGO emergency program cycle management, and with experience of working within a complex and matrix organisation structure.
