UN Women Job Vacancy 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Finalize the annual workplan and budget and manage their implementation;
- Manage the technical implementation of the programme; provide technical advice; ensure synergies with other teams;
- Review the submission of implementing partner financial and narrative reports as required;
- Provide guidance to staff and partners on Results Based Management tools and performance indicators;
- Lead Project Steering Committee, project review and/or evaluation meetings.
- Provide technical advice to partners; oversee the provision of technical guidance by the team
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with national partners to support implementation and expansion of the Making Migration Safe programme; respond to any potential problems;
- Serve as an expert resource to partners on UN Women’s work gender and migration
- Implement and oversee capacity building opportunities and initiatives;
- Provide partners with advanced technical assistance, training and capacity development initiatives.

Qualification & Experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, migration studies, development studies, gender/women’s studies or a related technical field is required.
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience, with track record in managing global programmes, mobilizing resources, and conducting policy research and analysis in the area of gender equality, women’s economic empowerment, and migration
- Experience managing programmes related to labour migration is required
- Experience in contributing to normative and intergovernmental processes related to gender equality and women’s empowerment, such as CSW, CEDAW, human rights treaty bodies
- Experience in organizing stakeholder consultations, expert group meetings, workshops and side events
- Experience in leading/managing a team is required
- Experience working in the UN system highly desirable.
