Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Gender in Humanitarian Action (GiHA) Programme Specialist at UN Women Ethiopia, the consultant(s) will develop and deliver contextualised GiHA ToTs to six cohorts of humanitarian stakeholders in Ethiopia. As such, main responsibilities and tasks for this consultancy will include:
- Introduction the UN Women’s approach and role in advancing GiHA
- Why Gender Equality is Essential in Humanitarian Action
- Key approaches to GEEWG in Humanitarian Action
- Needs analysis and Assessment
- Strategic Planning
- Resource Mobilization
- Implementation and Monitoring
- Action Planning
- Methodologies and exercises to prepare participants to organise and facilitate GiHA workshops for respective colleagues and partners at national and regional levels.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in related field;
Experience:

- Know-how on interagency PSEA related matters is an asset;
- Experience in adult learning is required;
- Skills in developing PowerPoints for online trainings is a strong asset;
- Experience working in the UN System in humanitarian emergencies is an asset;
- Experience in leading/managing a team is an asset.
