UNECA Job Vacancy 2022
Duties and Responsibilities: The AfCFTA-anchored Pharmaceutical Initiative is looking for an experienced storyteller/videographer to assist in increasing the quality and quantity of its multimedia content production and dissemination.
- Provide video production assistance including shooting and editing videos, mixing sound and animating slideshows.
- Film and edit video messages, interviews, events, and feature stories
- Produce short (1 – 5 minutes) explainer videos, using footage, texts, photos, infographics and sound.
- Conduct onsite and online recordings of statements, meetings, interviews etc.
- Usage of artistic elements to communicate the Pharma Initiative journey, results and way forward;
- Ensure that all requests and instructions from ECA pertaining to videography and video-editing requirements are fulfilled;
- The video will be used in ECA YouTube channel and social media networks;
- Develop and multimedia (audio/video) content for the project stories, announcement videos, social media videos, and promotional videos;
- Selection of highest broadcast quality of videography: minimum HD 1920×1080 or better;
- Produce documentary films (5+ minutes) to showcase Pharmaceutical Initiative ‘s work and accomplishments across Africa.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, communications, or related field. A high school diploma in combination with a minimum of five years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the Bachelor’s university degree.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in video production, including filming, editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and sound editing/design is required. Must be proficient in use of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut X. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects is an asset.
