UNECA Job Vacancy 2022
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the general guidance of the Chief of Publications & Conference Management Section (PCMS), and the direct supervision of the Chief of the Protocol & Liaison Services Unit (PLSU), the Individual Contractor shall perform the following specific duties:
- Arrange ID for new staff members and other dependents from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Arrange entry and exit visa for staff members, eligible dependents, conference delegates and consultants
- Assist during large meetings like AU Summit, Conference of Ministers, etc.
- Identify, Check and collect luggage and arrange all customs and immigrations processes required at the airport.
- Ensure that all the necessary processes are finalized properly and efficiently
- Assist conference participants on their arrival at the airport with regards to immigration formalities and luggage identification
- Rendering other support services, as and when necessary.
