UNODC Job Vacancy 2021
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports UNODC actions in promoting the cooperation on anti-corruption with the African Union, in line with the UNODC Strategic Vision for Africa 2030.
- In coordination with the relevant field offices and in accordance with UNODC’s overall strategy and as an integral element of the UNODC Regional Programmes, provide expert advice and input to the development and implementation of a technical assistance programme in anti-corruption at the national level in Ethiopia, and possibly regional level including other countries in the East Africa region as required.
- Contribute to resource mobilization for the anti-corruption programme by establishing and maintaining close liaison with donor countries and other partners in coordination with DTA/CEB, POETH and other relevant field offices.
- Support fast-tracking UNCAC implementation across the continent through the anti-corruption hub and together with the existing sub-regional platforms and assist States parties to participate in the implementation review mechanism of UNCAC.
- Conduct and/or follow-up on anti-corruption technical assistance needs assessments. Provide technical guidance and expertise to national counterparts and other UNODC field offices, as appropriate and required.
- Liaise and share information regularly with partner organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on programme activities. Prepare regular progress reports on the development of his/her work, as may be requested by the funding partner(s), national counterparts or UNODC.
