Purpose Of The Position: The incumbent will oversee the Logistics and fleet management for the country office, ensuring rapid and secure fleet and transportation and logistics support services to enable WHO successfully implement its programme activities. The incumbent will ensure that WHO vehicles are properly equipped, in compliance with relevant procedures for maintenance, tools, logbooks and related guidelines. Responsibilities also include contracting, training and supervising drivers, mechanics and other support staff as required. He/She will also oversee logistic support functions such as asset management, customs clearance, travel management and protocol, in close collaboration with the Operations Officer and other management and administrative staff.

Qualification:

- At least five years’ experience, at the national and international levels, in managing fleet and logistics support operations, part of which was in emergency or humanitarian situations, and/or experience in fleet/ logistics management operations in military, commercial or UN agencies, health cluster partners, recognized humanitarian organizations, non-governmental or international organizations/institutions at field level.
