Role Purpose: This position will be a part of Education and WASH initiative to contribute for conflict affected and other triggering factors for host and IDP communities to respond to and recovery opportunities for pre-primary and primary school aged IDPs, women and men, and host community children and parts of the community impacted by conflict and other factors.This position holder would be responsible for assessment, response analysis, design and implementation of the education components of the project. S/he is required to co-ordinate intervention activities and collaborative work with other Emergency Response team members and Plan staff, specifically with project management, WASH, health and other relevant technical sectors. The project manager should have active role in technical co-ordination, facilitation of interventions, creating joint platforms for collaborative work and information sharing as well as advocacy with the country specific clusters including Education, WASH, and with other technical agencies and stakeholders relevant to the sector.
