NRC Job Vacancy 2023
Responsibilities:
- Line management of LFS project field staff
- Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures and awareness of NRC global and regional strategies
- Contribute to LFS strategy development, project proposals and provide input on needs and gaps, considering where appropriate the role of cash-based interventions and market-based programmes
- Manage and implement delegated portfolio of LFS projects (activities, budget and project documentation) as delegated from Area Programme Manager (APM) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements, and ensure high technical quality
- Provide regular progress reports to APM and AM as required
- Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to assist
- Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities
- Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills.
- Lead need assessments to identify gaps and opportunities and submit comprehensive assessment report to the
- APM and LFS Specialist
- Identify implementation opportunities for cash-based interventions and market-based programmes and support staff to implement quality and timely projects
- Contribute to creating an enabling environment for the implementation of cash-based interventions, working with support teams in the institutionalization of cash-based programmes (capacity building, guidance and SOP development).
- Identify business opportunities/schemes for individuals, groups, mechanisms to strengthen capacity building and scale up options which include entrepreneurship, skill development, Micro financing, business management and prepare an action plan to support for small size enterprises for refugees, IDPs and host community
- Actively participate in different relevant forums, meetings, and working groups
- Prepare community-based planning workshops, participation analysis, and analyse and document relevant workshop outcomes.
