Save The Children Job Vacancy 2023
Role Purpose: The Health and Nutrition Program Manager will work with a number of partners mainly the Somali Regional Health Bureau, The Regional Water Bureau, national and sub-national Health, Nutrition, and WASH clusters, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, ENCU, and local and international NGOs that are implementing programs in the Somali region and or East Oromia, Harari region and Dire Dawa. S/he is responsible for the development, management, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Health, Nutrition, and WASH programs implemented under the Jigjiga Field Office. S/he is also in charge of managing overall program implementation through results-based monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance mechanisms. The Programme Manager is accountable for budget management across the multiple awards implemented under the jurisdiction of the Field Office. S/he is also accountable for partner management and coordination, which includes development through capacity building, monitoring, and supportive supervision. The position Holder will be responsible for representing SCI in the Health, Nutrition, and WASH cluster coordination happening at the sub-national or Regional level. S/he will coordinate with other program managers in the East Area Office to gather or share important updates or information with teams. The role holder supports the Field Office Manager, in facilitating key relationships between various teams at all levels, particularly Head of Field Offices, Health and Nutrition PMs in other Field Offices, National Sr. Program Managers, and other units both at different levels (MEAL, PDQI, HR and Safeguarding, Finance, Supply chain, Communications and advocacy, Awards and Partnership, and Safety & Security).

Qualification:
- BSc in nursing or related fields like environmental health.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in an NGO environment including a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in managing humanitarian and/or recovery programs.
- Experience in managing budgets and a sound understanding of key donor regulations
- Experience working with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Water at national or sub-national levels
- Previous experience of managing a large multi-sector, multi-national team or professionals
- Previous experience of programme management across multiple locations.
