WFP Job Vacancy 2022
Job Purpose: The situation in Tigray has deteriorated recently due to the increased fighting between the warring parties leading to increased humanitarian crises. With the ongoing peace talks, there is a huge potential of scale up which involves expansion of WFP operations in Tigray resulting to an increased demand from support units such as TEC. In order to cope with the augmented requirements, we need to reinforce the Tigray region IT unit with experienced staff. The post will be based in Mekelle and overseeing WFP TEC response in the region. He / She will complement the team and be responsible for the daily management of TEC operations and WFP interventions in Tigray.
Position in Organization:

- Duration: 11 Months Renewable

Qualification:
- Post graduate university degree in computer science, information systems and any other IT related fields.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in the planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. Proven effective, hands-on IT experience and in emergencies.
