Overall purpose of the role: Overall responsibility for the day to day management of DRC’s WASH & Infrastructure programming portfolio within geographical area of responsibility Direct manager for relevant sector staff members Sector responsibilities: Emergency water supply, installation water points, wells and water storage. Water purification, provision of physical infrastructure like roads, bridges, community centers, irrigation systems or other community structures, facilitation and training of infrastructure management groups at community level, facilitation and funding of community development plans, initiatives for disaster risk reduction at community level. This role has an area focus and ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the area. The role contributes to the development of area strategies, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks.

Qualification:

- Field experience in the Area
- Experience delivering Emergency water supply, installation water points, wells and water storage. Water purification, provision of physical infrastructure like roads, bridges, community centers, irrigation systems or other community structures, facilitation and training of infrastructure management groups at community level, facilitation and funding of community development plans, initiatives for disaster risk reduction at community level.
- Excellent skill in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
