NRC Job Vacancy 2022
Specific Responsibilities: These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the general LFS livelihood project activities in Dadaab.
- Conduct project awareness among stakeholders at community level in Dadaab camps and surrounding communities
- Conduct beneficiaries’ mobilization and registration based on the targeting criteria for a particular activity or project
- Conduct regularly monitor activities of other youth groups and SMEs and provide follow up support in relation to training, inputs and post-training/distribution monitoring.
- Carry out distribution of materials or cash grants to registered beneficiaries and complete distribution lists in accordance with NRC’s beneficiary distribution lists and cash-based intervention (CBI) standard operating procedures (SOP). Facilitate and gather information on market systems, market analysis
- Collect data required for the projects’ output and outcome monitoring system. Write weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Ensure all Livelihood reports are prepared and submitted on timely basis.
- Ensure the supervision and management of all the community workers within the sector.
- Assist all the activity implementation of livelihoods for both the refugees and the host community groups.
- Raise all the required project Purchase request in consultation with the line manager.
- To represent NRC and LFS Sector in livelihood Cluster meetings.
- To carry out any additional task assigned by the supervisor.
