CIFF Job Vacancy 2022

Role Responsibilities:

  • Review contextual analysis, information material and root causes to identify emerging political, security, reputational and economic risk and crisis issues and communicate clearly on paper and in person how they should be addressed and/or escalated. Contribute to the Africa Risk Working Group of such issues and their potential impact.
  • Attend and contribute actively to meetings of committees charged with deliberating on political, security, reputational and economic risk matters relating to the Africa region taking account of wider impacts relating to Africa region.
  • Contribute to Africa risk metrics to ensure political, security, reputational and economic risk is coherently reflected across the region. Produce standardized daily reports on political, security, reputational and economic risk within the region.
  • Working alongside senior colleagues, collate and/or conduct analysis and research on specific projects and sector trends, as required, to support the FABA pillar in determining future strategic priorities and setting operational plans.
  • Provide and communicate global, regional, national and sectoral insights both verbally and in writing, which contribute to the strategy and planning process.
  • Support the Co-Funding and Partnerships Director in the organisation, coordination, documentation and professional presentation of outputs from the strategy and planning process for the pillar.
