CIFOR Job Vacancy 2023
Overview: ICRISAT wishes to recruit an accountant to ensure ICRISAT General Ledger is well maintained as per ICRISAT Finance Policy, review ICRISAT’s general accounts and budgets as well as maintain collaborators and partners agreements and facilitate audits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ledger Postings i.e., Cash receipts, general journals, Travel expense Reports,
- Country (Ethiopia and Mozambique) Imprests Expense Reports.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Inter Office Accounts Processing.
- Collaborators Invoicing.
- Processing of purchase Invoices and ensuring LPOs are closed in the system.
- Filing correctly and sequentially journal vouchers and cash receipts in their respective files and ensure that the journals are fully supported.
Qualification & Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-3 years relevant experience.
- CPA 1 or ACCA Part 1.
- Non-Governmental Working experience will be an added advantage.
