IBTCI Job Vacancy 2022

Tasks and Responsibilities: Assist the Chief of Party to achieve project objectives, specifically related to technical delivery by:

  • Enhancing USAID/KEA’s organizational project design; programming; Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) practices; diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) objectives, and mission wide localization efforts through succesfful implementation of the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Manage technical leads to elevate local voices and co-develop and co-create programs with local partners, including marginalized populations,  girls and women, and youth.
  • Provide TA and sectoral technical expertise on strategic document development, monitoring, validation, and updating.
  • Support the Mission in process and system strengthening, including mission orders, templates, and tools, and develop and maintain knowledge management systems to capture institutional memory to meet tactical and strategic needs.
  • Provide support for reporting and planning, including but not limited to mid-course stock taking, portfolio reviews, project and activity designs, and annual plans.
  • Support the implementation of locally led development approaches with the private sector, civil society, and public sector.
  • Support technical teams in co-creation of activity and program designs, including facilitating co-creation meetings and events.
  • Provide technical consultative support to Mission offices to facilitate enhanced program delivery.
  • Interacts with senior management and administrators and, as appropriate, within industry and government, to represent and promote the development of strategic projects.
  • Coordinates strategic planning and goal development for the organization; monitors achievement of goals and objectives and provides reports.
  • Reviews and ensures accurate completion and timely submission of governmental reports as required, with respect to assigned areas of responsibilities.
  • Oversees and monitors performance of assigned operating units to ensure compliance and operating standards; oversees supervision of technical and administrative support staff assigned to the unit.
  • Assist with conducting briefings with USAID and other stakeholders, when necessary.
  • Participate with other team members in tasks such as presentations, and report writing.
  • Adhere to USAID, IBTCI, and local rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures (including USAID FARS and ADS).
  • Adhere to IBTCI project communication protocol.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

Experience:

  • At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible management experience is required, including experience with USAID funded projects.
  • At least three (5) years of delivering as lead on strategic planning and implementation plans for USAID programs.
