ICRC Job Vacancy 2022
Job Purpose: Support the Head of the Internal Audit unit in the discharge of their duties as set out in Article 50 of the ICRC Internal Regulations. Evaluate the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of ICRC’s governance, risk-management and control processes at headquarters and in delegations.
Main duties and responsibilities:
As a member of the team, you will be called upon to perform the following tasks:
- Conduct audits in ICRC delegations in all regions.
- Write audit reports and communicate results and recommendations.
- Contribute to the thinking and strategies of the Internal Audit and to other audit engagements.
- Maintain high-quality work standards and remain up to date with the evolution of standards and practices.
- May coordinate a small team (up to three persons) in the conduct of audit assignments in complex environments.
Qualification & Experience:
- Advanced university degree
- 12-15 years ICRC field/HQ experience: programs (Assistance, Protection, Prevention) or red line management or support services.
- Professional certification in audit-related areas (CIA, CRMA, CISA…) is an asset.
- Excellent command of English, with at least one additional language (French and Spanish preferable, while other ICRC languages would be an asset (Arabic, Russian).
- Proficiency in some of the following areas would be an asset: internal/external audit, risk management, digital transformation, project management.
