ILRI Job Vacancy 2022
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct sector level quantitative livestock systems analysis with a focus on herd dynamics, feed availability and use, climate change, and land use
- Conduct livestock sector and national level economic and policy analysis
- Contribute to ongoing model development to (a) improve the livestock sector quantification in a national/global economic model; and (b) enhance the ex-ante (environment, income, nutrition, gender) impact functionalities of a national/regional, spatial multi-market partial equilibrium model
- Support the development and implementation of national livestock master plans (https://www.ilri.org/livestock-master-plans) with quantitative livestock systems analysis
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and other relevant communication products
- Contribute to proposal writing to raise additional resources for policy and foresight research.
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.
