Functions: Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, RESI, and the overall guidance of the Director of the Division of Country Programmes, the Associate Project Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Provides support in the coordination of planning and preparation work for project initiatives related to freelancing and mentorship support.
- Compiles, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on freelancing or mentorship project activities and related topics or issues.
- Serves as focal point for coordination of freelancing and mentorship support project activities, involving liaising with different team members to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow up on administrative actions.
- Compiles, summarizes and enters data on project delivery related to mentorship and freelancing activities; drafts related status reports, identifying issues, etc., and brings to the attention of management.
- Provides guidance/training to new/junior staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
