IOM Job Vacancy 2021
Responsibilities: Support and provide guidance to the Communications Team in close coordination with the Head of Mission Support and Innovation Unit. Assist in the development and implementation of visibility and communications activities for the Country Office according to the organization’s branding guidelines. Provide written inputs for the development of internal C4D and PI capacity and provide basic technical guidance to external counterparts as required. Support the design and implementation of integrated communication campaigns, events, workshops and seminars of different scales.

- Type of Appointment : Special short-term ungraded, six months with possibility of

- Languages: IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Political or Social Science, English, Mass Communications or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
- University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Experience and knowledge in information, media management, social media platforms,
- campaign development, monitoring and evaluation;
- Experience in managing communications projects for international organizations and/or donor
- agencies;
- Experience in writing and editing public information;
- Good knowledge and experience of project development, administration and evaluation
- concepts and procedures is an advantage;
- Experience preparing and executing media and development communications strategies; and,
- Experience in creative visual or media design is an advantage.
