IOM Job Vacancy 2023
Core Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze, information from partners and other sources to develop ad hoc reports or communication pieces in support of the program.
- Design and/or ensure the production of topic guides, training modules, working papers, research reports or other written material
- Undertake regular duty travel to Mogadishu office and sub-offices in the field to ensure and support reporting, communications, donor visits, capacity building to national staff and counterparts, and visibility efforts as needed.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in International Relations, International Development, Political or Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Law, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Master’s degree in the above fields with seven years of relevant professional experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years’ (seven (7) years’ for bachelor’s degree holders) work experience in relevant knowledge management and reporting role which has been applied in a developmental context through programmatic work (design, implementation, M&E) is required;
- Experience in relevant reporting role with an international humanitarian or development organization;
- Previous experience and knowledge of donor funding mechanisms, particularly in Kenya or Somalia;
