NRC Job Vacancy 2022
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the Country Offices Action Plans on Safe and Inclusive Programming in the regions of EAY and MERO. This may include capacity-building, contextualization/development of tools, and ad hoc support and mentoring.
- Support the development of Country Office Action Plans (including facilitating self-assessment and Action Plan workshops) for those Country Offices who have yet to develop an Action Plan (likely 1-2 maximum)
- Coordinate/develop and roll-out in-person and online trainings to facilitate the roll-out of the SIP Minimum Standards.
- Provide capacity building (Training of Trainers) and mentoring of Country Office focal points related to Safe and Inclusive Programming and the application of the Minimum Standards
- Capacity-building of relevant Regional Advisers (CC, thematic and programme advisers) on SIP, with a view to cascade learning across their departments in the region
- Coordinate, analyse, monitor and report on the country office SIP action plans and integration into country office strategies for the EAY and MERO region
- Support and find avenues for the integration of SIP into NRC’s programming, systems, documents and routines.

Qualification:
- Master’s degree in related field (desirable).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the area of protection (mainstreaming). This also includes working in the area of gender, age, diversity mainstreaming, disability inclusion, child protection mainstreaming, gender based violence risk mitigation, and community engagement.
- Experience in developing and delivering high quality protection-related training and tools to support practical implementation of protection standards.
