Nutrition International Job Vacancy 2022

About the role: Reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, the Regional Talent Acquisition Officer is responsible for sourcing quality candidates to meet the needs of the organization. The incumbent will participate in the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting and sourcing to selection, and collaborate with hiring managers and the HR department to gain an understanding of the best-fit applicants for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Officer will negotiate offers with selected candidate and oversee the completion of references, background and criminal checks where relevant. Once the contract has been signed, the Talent Acquisition Officer will hand it off to the HR Officer for employee set-up and onboarding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops hiring plan and actively recruits to fill vacancies using top-tier recruitment tools.
  • Negotiates employment agreements and is accountable for contract management
  • Supports the development and maintenance of Talent Acquisition practices in alignment with the overall organizational strategy.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely and high-quality support throughout the recruitment process. Ensure a clear mutual understanding of staffing policies, priorities and constraints.
  • Develops and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Country Specific recruitment agency preferred vendor list).
  • Identifies active and passive candidates and develops pipelines for current and future vacancies, hard-to-fill roles, and high-volume roles.
  • Identifies channels for internal and external advertising of current and upcoming vacancies.
  • Manages all Talent Acquisition related administration, including Applicant Tracking System updates, notes and workflows, administration of job postings and any related external advertising; weekly updates to stakeholders; and preparation of new hire HR form packages and complete onboarding processes to ensure proper employee set up.
  • Ensures recruitment practices reflect Nutrition International’s diversity, inclusion, and required compliance to applicable laws and values

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree, diploma or certification in Human Resources Management.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, SHRP, PHR, SPHR)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or customer relationship management systems
  • Experience using social media outlets for talent acquisition
  • Global recruiting experience within an INGO environment is an asset
  • Successful track record in filling difficult positions in niche areas and maintaining high quality satisfaction of hiring managers and candidates.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Applicant Tracking Systems and online recruiting and networking tools.
