Job Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background; the intern’s assigned office as well as the internship period.
Under the Supervision of the Oversight, Internal Control Unit the intern will:
- Support to monitor and report on follow-up of the implementation of audit, and other oversight bodies’ recommendations and associated management actions.
- Assist in preparing annual performance planning and reviews, risk assessment and updating of risk registers, including operational level risk registers and progress towards implementing the risk mitigation actions.
- Prepare periodic progress reports on the status of compliance and internal controls in the office.
- Liaise with colleagues in HQ, ROs and when necessary COs, that are focal points for risk analysis and monitoring.
