Job Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background; the intern’s assigned office as well as the internship period.
Under the supervision of Associated Human Settlements Officer the intern will:
- Support waste management projects managed by the unit, especially Waste Wise Cities and African Clean Cities Platform. This includes research on awareness raising programmes, contributing to the newsletter, supporting member cities, preparing events, etc.
- Assist with concept note development for project preparation
- Provide research for backgrounders/information materials;
- Undertake other assignments as required for the development and implementation of the work programme of the Urban Basic Services Section
