Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to the following specific tasks:
- Development of a workplan for the Pan Africa Action Plan for Active Mobility (PAPAAM) process – in consultation with key partners and stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate a stakeholder mapping at city and national level (for all 54 African countries) and at regional level in Africa – working with and guiding sub-regional partners.
- Organize stakeholder events (including workshops, focus groups and bilateral meetings) – working with and guiding sub-regional partners.
- Undertake relevant technical desk based research to inform PAPAAM development and draft the action plan.
- Develop and co-ordinate/collect content for a resource center/database to provide guidance and information to support each of the PAPAAM commitments – co-ordinating closely with PAPAAM partners and stakeholders.

Qualification:
- First level university degree (Bachelors) in environmental studies, engineering, urban planning , transport or other relevant degree is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of three years work experience in policy development/, stakeholder engagement and research/data collection specific to sustainable mobility and active mobility/non-motorized transport in the Africa context is required.
- Experience in technical delivery of active mobility/non-motorized transport projects in the Africa context is required.
- Experience working with African governments is required.
- Experience working with an international organization is desirable.
