Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of scientific literature and peer reviewed journal articles to establish potential links and identify key information gaps between the current content of the Frontiers report and international studies as well as news stories. The purpose is to ensure that the final product is as up-to-date and scientifically accurate as possible when it is officially released.
- Fill the information gaps as identified in Task 1 by incorporating additional facts and information into the current manuscript and produce the revised and final manuscript for layout.
- Develop factsheets containing key messages, notable statistics and compelling tidbits from all chapters of the Frontiers report for outreach purposes.
- Prepare a draft web-story to communicate the findings from all chapters of the new Frontiers report while ensuring that the content is scientifically accurate and suitable for diverse audiences.
- Prepare the content of the Frontiers landing webpage highlighting key elements of the report.

Qualification:
- A university degree in science, geography, engineering, or technical field is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years’ work experience in writing and editing reports and publications is required. An editorial portfolio with at least 20 technical publications, reports or educational materials which showcase science communication using clear and simplified terms suitable for non-technical readers, decision makers and the interested public is desirable.
