How can you make a difference: Under the supervision of the Deputy Representative, P5, the Chief Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation is accountable for the accomplishment of the following overall end-results through undertaking programme monitoring and evaluation (M&E), exercising advisory role, providing guidance, coordination and leadership in policy and strategy development, in the oversight of the implementation of M&E recommendations, as well as in the collaboration with the UN country team in support of the attachment of the MDG.

Qualification:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in programme development and implementation including monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • At least one instance of exposure to emergency programming, including preparedness planning. Active involvement in a humanitarian crisis response programme preferred.
