Scope of Work:
Goal and Objective
Under the supervision of the Regional Staff Counsellor, the consultant will provide webinar series in three areas:
- One targeted at supporting fatherhood and male roles in different settings. The overall goal of these webinar series is to increase healthy father roles within families, among their peers and in their workplace. It will address effective communication skills in managing conflict and perspective roles as males.
- The second one providing technical skills to PSVs and Staff Counselling Team Members to better equip the wellbeing teams in intervention and clinical approaches to give optimal support staff.
- The third one providing technical psychologically informed tailored skills for Young UNICEF in enhancing effective resiliency mechanisms, best practices in engaging with leadership as young professionals while building their communication skills, confidence, and overall strategic approaches from a psychologically informed perspective.

Qualification:
- Advanced degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology is desirable.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical settings including working with fathers, their partners and coparents, training first line responders and leaders. Extensive publication/research/clinical skills in areas related to fatherhood and male roles, family therapy, impact of violence and trauma on children, trauma in different setting, trauma informed and evidence based treatments for children and families impacted by trauma, therapy with fathers, a minimum of two previous contracts with UNICEF in at least 3 different regions and experience in training organizations like child protection, security/police, counsellors/mental health agencies and humanitarian organizations. Previous international experience providing in-person and virtual trainings in acute/crisis as well as, longer term evidence-based treatments like CBT and/or others. Previous experience developing webinars for an international audience in multiple languages; at least 10 years’ experience providing professional training and consultation to agencies or organizations related to working with families.
