UNODC Job Vacancy 2021
Duties and Responsibilities: Under the overall supervision of the Head of Transnational Organized Crime, Illicit Trafficking and Terrorism Programmes and direct supervision of the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer (Law Enforcement Expert), the Consultant will, in close consultation with the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer (Terrorism Prevention) and relevant project managers, perform the following tasks.
- Develop workplan and provide strategic advice to UNODC.
- Support the revision of the Police Chiefs Coordination Organization (EAPCCO) Counter Terrorism (CT) Training Manual for Eastern Africa, focusing on cybercrime and use of internet and digital technology for terrorist purposes.
- Support the development of e-Learning modules for the updated Counter-Terrorism Training Manual.
- Deliver one 3-day regional scenario-based training workshop on cyber- and cyber-enabled crime and counterterrorism utilizing the EAPCCO Cybercrime Investigation Manual and UNODC resource material.

Qualification:
- Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in international relations, international law, criminal law, criminal justice, criminal investigation or similar subject is required. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in utilizing specialist digital forensic devices and using specialist software and hardware (e.g. Cellebrite, FTK, Magnet AXIOM (IEF)) etc) is required
