WFP Job Vacancy 2023
Job Purpose: To serve as a HR consultant and support the implementation of the HR actions resulting from the Kenya Country Office Organizational Alignment Exercise. They are expected to support delivering professional, client-focused HR services, partnering with managers to implement HR actions in line with WFP corporate policies and procedures and the defined Standard Operating Procedure developed for the exercise.
Key Accountabilities (not all-inclusive):
- Manage end to end talent acquisition process for the Kenya Country Office Organizational Alignment approved positions, in liaison with HR team in the Country Office and in close collaboration with the respective hiring managers.
- Advertise vacant positions on appropriate job boards, social media, and another relevant platform.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule, as per WFP guidelines.
- Responsible for screening applications by assessing applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
Qualification:
- Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or another relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or trainings/courses.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible relevant work experience and expertise in Talent Acquisition, HR Management and Organizational Design
- Demonstrated ability in leading Talent Acquisition.
- Track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience of managing small teams of staff.
- Experience within WFP and/or other UN agencies is desired.
