WFP Job Vacancy 2022
Job Purpose: You will design and implement acceleration programmes for start-ups and MSMEs from start to finish. You will be in charge of crafting the call for applications and investment thesis, creating a strong pipeline of growth businesses and start-ups, co-selecting the most promising ones, bringing & signing up partners that can add value, organizing demo days or pitch events and ensuring that the acceleration programme creates strong value to those businesses. You will also measure the impact of this programme and of those businesses and support the innovation team on other topics as required.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, innovation, design, international development or other related degrees.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in African start-ups, consulting, Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) private businesses or innovation/entrepreneur support in the humanitarian/international development sector. Program and event organization, project management, and data collection and analysis experience required. Experience working with startups/organizations in the East Africa innovation ecosystem and/or in food systems is beneficial.
