WFP Job Vacancy 2021

Key Accountabilities: Under the overall supervision of the FtMA country coordinator, in direct support to the FtMA Productivity and Market leads and with the technical guidance of the Country Office M&E unit, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support evidence creation-related activities, including baselines, surveys and follow-up monitoring (including design, implementation and database management).
  • Liaise with the implementing partner on all matters related to reporting and produce periodic operational updates.
  • Support the development of mobile-enabled farmer and aggregator training tools in close collaboration with the FtMA national partners and their field-based teams.
  • Facilitate sharing of good practices and learning with Activity 3 and 4 Manager within the Strategic Outcome 2 (SO2) to inform the scale-up of the FSC model in the ASAL counties.
  • Assist in development of communication strategies and content for FtMA Kenya; manage all communication channels and disseminate project activities and successes with internal and external partners
  • Support the FtMA country coordinator with organization of the quarterly Country Coordination Committees.
  • Conduct field missions to collect data from targeted farmers and flag issues for follow-up actions.
  • Under the guidance of the Kenya Country Office M&E team, ensure WFP corporate monitoring and reporting requirements are met; and
  • Any other duty as agreed with the FtMA Country Coordinator and SO2 Manager.

Qualification:
