Job Purpose: The World Health Organization (WHO) Nigeria continues to provide technical and programme management support to the GoN of Nigeria to achieve Accelerated Disease Control targets through routine and Supplemental Immunization activities.Following a successful application for the follow up measles nation wide campaigns as well as preventive mass campaigns to Gavi and receipt of Decision letters to Nigeria, initial planning activities have commenced as part po pre-implementation towards a successful vaccination campaign.

Education :

  • Essential: University degree, preferably in one of the following: Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health.
  • Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Public Health, preferably in Epidemiology or other related public health fields.

Experience :

  • Essential: At least 5 years’ experience in Immunization activities in similar roles in an organization concerned with public health management.
  • Desirable: Prior working experience with international nongovernmental organization (INGOs), WHO/UN, health clusters partners, recognized humanitarian organizations.
  • Understanding of WHO guidelines for implementation of mass campaigns in the context of Covid-19.

Skills :

  • Public speaking and communication.
  • Technical presentation skills.
