Your tasks:

They are responsible for the delivery of services in the states of Lagos and Enugu in the areas of vocational training, employment promotion and capacity development
You control appraiser assignments and consulting assignments as well as technical and organizational advice for central cooperation partners
They initiate partnerships with the private sector and manage private-public partnership approaches
You support the management processes within the project by developing requirements for experts, budget planning, and strategic and operational planning
You write contributions to reports for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management
You will lead the employees of an international team at the Lagos location according to the company’s understanding of leadership and ensure an appreciative leadership culture

Qualification:

University degree in economics, social sciences or educational sciences or a comparable qualification
Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably acquired abroad, in the implementation of international development cooperation projects
Several years of experience in vocational training or employment promotion, ideally in sub-Saharan Africa
Good specialist knowledge in the field of vocational training and employment promotion
In-depth knowledge of instruments and experience in working with the private sector would be an advantage
Leadership and management experience
Commitment, team spirit, reliability, diplomatic skills, gender competence and intercultural understanding
Ability to think and act strategically and analytically, quick comprehension and an eye for the essentials e
Business fluent English, good German and other foreign language skills are an advantage
