ICRC Job Vacancy 2021
Job Purpose: Health Field Officer 2 contributes to implementing, running and monitoring the health programme(s) in cooperation with the health team, according to the objectives set out in the delegations annual planning (Planning for Results) for a specific geographic area or field of activities. Based on the skills required for this position, s/he has the capacity to oversee programmes with a degree of autonomy (e.g. delegations with remote management) and/or deliver services with autonomy (e.g. hospital settings) and contributes actively to planning and coordinating health activities at field level..
Function Description :
- Implements health programmes within his / her geographic area or field of responsibility! expertise.
- The Health Field Officer Position is to work closely with the ICRC Health Delegate in the ICRC support
health facilities in Bor Sub-Delegation This includes ensuring close communication and collaboration with
other departments within sub-delegation as well as with relevant interlocutors.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Midwifery or Comprehensive Nursing
- Degree in Midwifery. – Nursing. public health or health management will be an asset.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic.
- Knowledge of the local language is desirable
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Good connections with local health authorities o gioups of interest for the ICRC.
- Excellent knowledge of the assigned geographic area.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Offices.
