UNICEF Job Vacancy 2023
Purpose: Under the supervision of the Logistics Officer and technical support from the Logistics Specialist & Manager, the Logistics Assistant is responsible to plan, manage and monitor all aspects of warehouse and transport operations and inventory management of programme supplies at the Bor warehouse and management of the supply chain related activities for Bor field office.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to supply chain, business administration, contract/commercial law, or another relevant technical field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant logistics and warehousing experience in supply chain management or a commercial context is required. Understanding of humanitarian work is an advantage. Emergency experience is also an advantage.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered as an asset.
