Concern Worldwide Job Vacancy 2022
Purpose: The FSL Coordinator main responsibility is to manage, coordinate and lead the implementation of Concern’s FSL work in South Sudan. This will be through, managing and supporting teams on the ground, conducting training and capacity building of staff including in market assessment, engaging with relevant NGOs, UN and other agencies and clusters. He/ She will be tasked to ensure that FSL activities are implemented and monitored in accordance with the programme work-plan and logical frameworks and will be supporting the design of new proposals.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in humanitarian action, development management or related qualification or experience
- Degree or equivalent in agricultural science, biological sciences, rural development or similar qualification
- Documented experience from cash-based interventions
- Minimum of three years’ experience in managing food security and livelihoods programmes in fragile and/or insecure contexts, market assessments, Climate Smart Agriculture, Natural Resources Management and/or food security interventions.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of working with international donors.
- Communication and reporting skills (verbal and in writing).
- High level of proficiency in English is required.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the humanitarian context in South Sudan
- Experience of working with government authorities and other stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritise responsibilities, carry out multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
