Organizational Setting: The main aim of the FAO country offices, which are headed by an FAO representatives, is to assistant governments to develop policies , programmes and projects to achieve food security and to reduce hunger and malnutrition, to help develop the agricultural, fisheries and forestry sectors and to use their environmental and natural resources in a sustainable manner.
Eligibility criteria:
- University Degree in Project Management, Development Studies, International Development, Rural Development, Social Science or other related field.
- At least five years (5) of relevant experience in project management of complex projects on livelihood diversification, food security preferably in Fragile or conflict affected states.
- Working knowledge of English and limited knowledge of one of the other FAO languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian).
