FAO Job Vacancy 2022
Organizational Setting: FAO Representation in South Sudan is responsible for, and contributes technical assistance to the Government of Republic of South Sudan through various projects in the area of agricultural productivity, livestock, fisheries and natural resource management and implemented with humanitarian, transitional and development funding. FAO’s main contribution to the national development process in South Sudan is best expressed through its support to capacity development and the provision of technical advice and policy support contributing to more productive and sustainable farming activities, improved food security and income for the people, particularly in the rural areas.
Eligibility Criteria
- University degree in agriculture, livestock, food security, social sciences or related areas
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in management and implementation of development projects, especially interfacing with government will be added advantage.
- Working knowledge (level C) of English is required
- Working knowledge (level C) of Arabic will be considered an asset
- National of South Sudan
